Clinical Pathology / Histopathology
Our state-of-the-art Clinical Pathology laboratory is equipped with the technology necessary to perform full scale hematology, clinical chemistry, urinalysis, coagulation and osmolarity analysis.
Our Histology laboratory staff is utilizing the most highly-advanced technologies, including standard staining, immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization, electron microscopy, cell proliferation assays, and apoptosis evaluations.
Animal Disease Models
The use of animals as models for human disease has been indispensable in understanding the causes, biology, and prevention of disease. With our clients and research collaborators, our experienced scientists at Frontier Biosciences are continually identifying and developing new animal models to evaluate pathogenic mechanisms, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, nutrition and metabolic disease, and the efficacy of novel drug development. These models are used with the intention of discovering and quantifying the impact of a treatment, whether this is to cure a disease, or to assess toxicity of a chemical compound.
The following disease models have been developed at Frontier BioSciences:
Morphine Addition in Rhesus
Parkinson's Disease in Rhesus
Kidney and Liver Transplant in Rhesus and Swine
Radiation Protection Rhesus Model
Female Infertility Therapy in Rhesus
Heart Failure in Rhesus
Aging Evaluation in Rhesus
