Title: Pathologist
Location: Chengdu, China
Qualifications:
D.V.M. with relevant experience in contract toxicology
D.A.C.V.P. certification preferred
Fluency in Chinese language a plus
Responsibilities:
Communicate with the Principal Investigator to prepare study protocols
Prepare study protocol amendments as necessary
Review in-life data on a frequent basis
Review all pathology data to ensure compliance with the protocol, research proposals, and Standard
Operating Procedures
Respond to all quality assurance audits in the pathology area in the required time frame
Participate in scheduled staff meetings
Review training files of all necropsy technical staff
Establish various training programs for technical staff
Evaluate, microscopically, all study required tissues
Communicate pathology findings to the Principal Investigator, verbally and via written report
Assist the Principal Investigator in ensuring that all pathology raw data and specimens are archived upon
finalization of the report
Develop new procedures and technologies as required, including development of new Standard
Operating Procedures and/or forms
Publish the results of the studies
Maintain an active involvement in professional pathology organizations
Be knowledgeable in domestic and international pathology regulatory requirements
