Our facilities encompass over 80,000 sq. ft. of research space, with additional expansion started in 2008. Our facilities include a small animal barrier facility, a transgenic animal room, a large animal conventional facility and a cGMP facility. Our facilities are all equipped with advanced HVAC systems, security systems, environmental monitoring systems, and backup emergency generators. Our state-of-the-art toxicology facilities are in compliance with international GLP regulatory standards and operate according to U.S. guidelines on animal care and use.
The facility of WCPF is located in the Hi-tech Development Zone of Chengdu, a modern city with a rich history of more than 3,000 years. The facility contains a laboratory building, a SPF small animal facility, and a conventional large animal facility, totaling over 80,000 square feet. The buildings were designed by JGC Corporation, Japan, in conforming with GLP requirements.
